My name is Álvaro Rincón. I am a Motion Graphics designer and video editor with over five years of experience in the industry. Currently, I work as a Motion Graphics designer and video editor at Diario ABC. I hold a degree in Journalism and Media Studies at the URJC and a Master's degree in Motion Graphics from Trazos.
I specialize in multimedia storytelling for the digital video environment. I have worked at El País, elDiario.es and El Confidencial. I have also worked in corporate communications at Cantabria Labs.
Professional Experience
March 2023 — Present: Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor at ABC
As a Motion Designer and video editor at ABC, I create motion graphics in After Effects to enhance digital content. I also design social media formats and film and edit videos using Sony Alpha and Premiere Pro.

January 2022 — January 2023: freelance motion designer, El Confidencial
Video editing and motion graphics design for El Confidencial, combining Premiere Pro and After Effects to illustrate and create audiovisual content focused on geopolitics and Foreign Affairs. Also, use of the GEO-Layers tool to design strategic maps to understand international conflicts in their geographic context.

During my time at Cantabria Labs, I was part of the company's Internal Communications team. My responsibilities included internal communications, such as writing regultar updates for employees, and creating engaging video content and designs. I also helped plan company events.
